Nuesoft Technologies Announces American Academy of Pediatrics Trade Show Sweepstakes Winners

ATLANTA (November 1, 2010) - Nuesoft Technologies Inc. today announced the winners of its Bring Your Office Into the Future sweepstakes. Phillip Malouf, M.D. of Pleasant Hill, Calif., won a media package that included a 42-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, six children’s movies and a TV wall mounting unit. Another AAP conference attendee, Mo El-Fouly, M.D. of Ann Arbor, Mich. was the recipient of a free NueMD electronic medical record.

Both winners entered the sweepstakes at the Nuesoft booth during the American Academy of Pediatrics conference in San Francisco, Oct. 2-5. At the conference, Nuesoft showcased its NueMD Internet-based practice management software and electronic health record, and was a sponsor of the Pediatric Office of the Future, where it displayed its new iPhone app being released in 2011.

“I was surprised I won. The media package will be perfect for my pediatric clinic,” said Malouf of Touro University Medical Center.

Each year the AAP conference brings thousands of pediatricians from around the globe together for educational sessions and exhibits showcasing the latest technological and medical advancements in the field. It is the largest pediatric educational event in the world.

Nuesoft attracted booth attendance by comparing client-servers – the technology of the past to cloud computing, which is a modern network service model. To emphasize the dichotomy between the two technologies, booth staff attire included leisure suits and Star Trek outfits.
