ATLANTA (October 4, 2010) – Nuesoft Technologies Inc. today announced the fall 2010 winners of its College Health Scholarship Program. Six college and university health centers each received an in-kind donation of up to $5,000 to be used toward Nuesoft’s college health center software or electronic medical record (EMR).
“These schools were so deserving of this scholarship and are sure to get valued use out of the clinic management software,” said Jennifer McDuffee, director of marketing and communications for Nuesoft. “Every spring and fall since 2008 applicants put together their applications, but these six were obvious choices after seeing their compelling proposals.”
Nuesoft products, including Nuesoft Xpress™ clinic management software and Nuevita™ electronic health record (EHR) help college health professionals electronically manage the administrative and clinical functions related to running a college health or counseling center.
The scholarships will assist schools that would not normally be able to automate their operations. All applications were reviewed by a selection committee comprised of college health professionals.
