ATLANTA – Nuesoft Technologies Inc. has announced its call for fall applications for its 15-year Anniversary Scholarship Program to grant $150,000 of its Nuesoft Xpress software to help college health and counseling centers automate their operations.
Nuesoft will award five more grants totaling up to $15,000 each, which recipients will be able to apply toward a Nuesoft Xpress practice management system or electronic medical record (EMR). So far, six schools have been awarded these scholarships commemorating Nuesoft’s 15th year in student health.
Nuesoft Technologies President and CEO Massoud Alibakhsh urged schools to apply even if they have a very limited budget.
"This scholarship initiative is designed to assist schools that would not normally be able to take advantage of the benefits of automation," he said. "I hope that these scholarships will really make a difference to some smaller health centers that are struggling to handle immunization compliance and reporting on top of their everyday tasks."
The deadline for the second round of applications is September 5, 2008. All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of college health professionals, and fall winners will be announced on October 3. For more information and to download the fall 2008 application, visit the Nuesoft Xpress Web site.
