ATLANTA – Nuesoft Technologies Inc. today announced the spring 2010 winners of its College Health Scholarship Program. Five college and university health centers each received an in-kind donation of up to $5,000 to be used toward Nuesoft’s college health center software or electronic medical record (EMR).
The spring 2010 grant recipients are: Belmont Abbey College, Berea College, Butler Community College, Skidmore College and Xavier University.
This was by far the best group of applications since the scholarship program began in 2008,” said Wesleyan University Health Center Director Joyce Walter, who heads the scholarship review committee. “It was very difficult to choose the winners, but the five schools we selected presented very compelling proposals.”
Nuesoft products, including Nuesoft Xpress™ clinic management software and Nuevita™ electronic health record (EHR) help college health professionals electronically manage the administrative and clinical functions related to running a college health or counseling center.
The scholarships will assist schools that would not normally be able to automate their operations. All applications were reviewed by a selection committee comprised of college health professionals.
